With more than 15 years of experience in the geospatial industry, Maggie brings a strong community-focused perspective on the people, partnerships, and technology that make open geospatial data possible. She also serves as Chair of the National Geospatial Advisory Committee, helping advance collaboration and innovation in national geospatial policy. In her keynote, “Beyond the Basemap: The Community Powering OpenStreetMap,” Maggie will explore how OpenStreetMap has grown into critical geospatial infrastructure used across government, business, nonprofit, and academic communities—and how GIS professionals can engage with the people and programs helping shape its future.
